Although, I really need to clean my closet first.
We got in a little last minute splash pad fountain action last week.
Dell Harper had her greatest week ever- Star of the Week. We made Rice Krispy treats to bring to the class. Deeds got to leave his class to sit and have a treat with the big kids. Joyous occasion for all.
I love her (accurate) answers. Gold and silver, indeed.
Speaking of faithful companions, I had to say goodbye to my station wagon. Goodbye to whipping around curves and excellent fuel economy.
Hello to room for three kids (and frankly, room for my belly)!
The kids are thrilled with it, and have taken to shouting out the car windows to people "Hey! DO you like our new car? We got a new car!!". It's incredibly embarrassing.
I will do a full update on room sharing and their new room at some point, but it's going really well. After several talks about the importance of good rest, DH or Deeds are not creeping into each other's bed (I think). It's pretty sweet though. They are such good buddies. It makes this hormonal heart very full.
Okay, that's it for now. Since I have broken the seal, hopefully updates will be blogged on the reg. I'm still throwing up (nine months of puking has been awesome, baby). SO hopefully c-section recovery and newborn haze will be a relief from this pregnancy! One can only hope.
You're almost there! So excited to meet the new bundle!
ReplyDeleteThe kids' enthusiasm for your new ride makes me chuckle! Leighton is obsessed with mini vans and desperately wants one. Every walk through the parking lot includes a very loud one-sided conversation that goes something like "wow, mommy, look! They have a van! Does the door slide-- OH IT DOES! IT SLIDES! Oh and they have a van over there! Why don't we have a van? Don't you want a door that slides? WOAH ANOTHER VAN!" It is highly embarrassing.
This baby will be here so soon! Hoping the c section and recovery and sleep deprivation are easier with holiday flavored coffee making it's way into stores :)
ReplyDeleteI've missed your posts!
ReplyDeleteYAY! They are so cute! I can't wait to hear about the arrival of #3! Stacy and Travis are in Knoxville! I told Stacy to give you a hug from me if you see them. xx
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see an update from you! Sending good wishes for the arrival of baby #3!
