Until now. I was running through Earthfare the other day and saw an apple cider vinegar drink over by the Kombucha. It was delicious! And expensive. So I decided to make my own.
Ingredients:
- 5 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar (with the "mother")
- 4 Tablespoon Apple Juice (look for organic, straight non-sweetened juice, since we are trying to be healthful here)
- 6 cups Water
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 4 packets Truvia
This makes a big pitcherful, one which I am trying to consume everyday.
We shall see if the purported weight loss benefits are a myth or not, but at least I will be getting more water in. Cheers!
this is interesting, i was just reading that drinking 1 TB of apple cidar mixed in one cup of water before meals helps your body better digest and break down the protien and calcium in your food, but i hadnt heard about the weight loss piece
ReplyDeleteMmm ACV! I drink a big glass (in a tumbler like yours) every morning before breakfast. After a while you get used to it - I drink it plain - just water and vinegar.
