Book Club and Lake Dreams

I loved reading all of your suggestions- sounds like I need to try The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.  Like many of you, I am reading a lot of books right now.  I am very absorbed with Slammerkin, a New York Times Notable, which tells the story of a English girl in the 1760's who falls into prostitution- cheery, huh?

Anyway the winners of the book happy prize is #24- Jackie, who wanted Bound South- please give me your e-mail, so I can get your address, and #36- Kate.  Kate- you didn't specify, so expect Tainted in your mailbox soon.

To all winners- I have been horribly lazy and have not sent your packages.  Don't worry- they are going out this week.  It's just my dread of any sort of post office/fed-ex type place that has prevented the transmission of your prizes. However, I am now right on top of that Rose!*

I have been horribly lazy in all aspects of my life lately, except for reading.  All I want to do is curl up under my quilt and tuck in with a good book.  It's time for winter to be over, so I can do this.

Yeah, I'm rocking a mini-mullet.  It's East Tennessee- what are you going to do? That's my first golden retriever, Hunter, who went on adventures with me, and would knock over my little brother.  What more could a girl ask for?

I'm dreaming of water skis, bikinis, and possibly a cold beer or two.

Can I just hibernate until it's lake time, please?

*If you do not understand this reference, I'm sorry we can no longer be friends.
