When It Rains It Pours!

Please note the parking lot of our offices yesterday, as well as the major road by which I get home.  I had moved my car to the highest ground behind the brick restaurant in the last picture, which resulted in a non-flooded vehicle stuck on an island.  Luckily, the waters receded quite quickly, and I was able to leave at my normal time on dry roads.  What a mess!

Just like my house!  I love all of your commiseration- husbands!  I do have the most wonderful friend who comes once every two weeks.  If I could bump her up to once a week budget-wise and without extreme guilt I would, but her schedule is jam-packed!

Speaking of a jam packed schedule (I'm really liking my smooth segues into each topic this post), y'all will not be hearing much from me this week, as my life is taken over by Bag-A-Bargain, my Junior League event which is a HUGE rummage sale taking up 57,000 square foot building.  There's over 5,000 shoppers, and gets rather chaotic.

However, I am sooo excited about my section, The Treasure Chest, which is all the diamonds in the rough.  Combing through everything to rescue and price up the good stuff?  Basically my dream job.  However, I'm a twee bit nervous since it's my first year in this position.  Luckily, Peg is an old pro, and will guru me through it, thank goodness.

So, I will try to get in some good pics of my treasures, but posts might be even more sporadic than they have of late.  Hope everyone is having a wonderful, dry week!  Hurrah for March!
