So I have been thinking about this swimsuit from Modcloth for a couple weeks now.
The question is- will I look adorably Betty Draper and classic like these ladies?
Of course Grace and Marilyn make white bathing suits look easy.
Or will I look like an errant, pale, tattooed hipster that has somehow wandered onto the Tennessee River?
Thoughts? The high waisted aspect looks very conducive to drinking beer and eating carbs without having to watch the poochiness of one's tummy regions, no?
Oh I say go for it. A little extra coverage never hurt anybody and the polka dots are pretty sassy. But just fyi - this is all coming from a preggers lady who thinks everyone looks mighty skinny these days!

the "tanga" bottom is a little more forgiving, esp. around the side love handles. i have a pair of bottoms like this and they are my fav. they also have some fold-over kind. idk if you're trying to hide the pouch or not, but that def. wont. maybe go the tankini route?
I think it's adorable...and you've obviously got the sassy personality to pull it off. What do you have to lose...you can always send it back if it's not what you had in mind!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sole Matters, but what I want is a high waisted bikini! That Victoria's Secret one is way cute, but I have a ton of ones just like that (plus my boobs do not fit into their tops- actually they prob won't fit into this top either!).
