My big shoe purchase this fall is going to be a pair of riding boots. My budget is $200 or under, and I want a classic pair which I can wear with brown. Here are the front runners-
Number Two
So which one? I am currently leaning towards Number One, so I can wear them with black as well- can't wait for skinny jeans, a crisp white button up, and blazer (maybe one of those corduroy ones I showed y'all yesterday from L.L. Bean?), and my new riding boots.
Okay, so I do get a little excited about fall. However, by the time it actually gets cold, I wear my new duds a couple of times, and can't be on the lake, I will be grumpy about fall and the chill.
Both cute picks! I like the short heel on #2 better, and I think it's a light enough brown to wear with a casual black outfit! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been shopping for boots too! I've ordered 2 pairs and both were darker than pictured, which means they don't work with black. So frustrating!
ReplyDeleteI love #2. They're soo pretty.
I think #2 are gorgeous! Beautiful color and a great low heel so they're probably comfy. And, if you wanted to, I think you could pair them with a black blazer. I think the old "rule" about mixing black and brown no longer applies. At least that's what I decided when I saw Angelina Jolie in black carrying her brown LV bag. :)
ReplyDeleteMy pair are dark brown and I am now looking for a lighter pair because I think they will go with more!
ReplyDeleteoooh, I love them both. I'm partial to the second ones because for the past week, I can't think about anything other than BOOTS. SWEATERS. MAPLE LEAVES. PUMPKINS. BOOTS.
ReplyDeleteOhh, they are both gorgeous! I'm going to break with the crowd here and say that I like the first pair--they are just kind of different and unique.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about fall! It's all well and good until I can't do anything fun and it's cold. Humph. Even if I am melting in this out of control hot summer we're having this year!
While that second pair is gorgeous, the black & brown duo would work with more outfits. Can't wait until fall!
ReplyDeleteBoth are gorgeous, but I love the first especially.
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE 'em - like your idea on the first - very versatile and this way you can do brown or black - smart tart!
