Big Weekend!!

First up- tonight- dinner with some friends at my favorite sushi place. I am dreaming of ginger margaritas (an awesome recipe for them can be found here) and the chef's special, whatever it may be. My dreams will get me through my day of psycho clients. It's one of those days already.

Hopefully an early night, as we're headed to some friends' home at ten in the morning (eek!) for a tailgate brunch before making our way to Neyland Stadium for the 12:21 game against Western Kentucky.

There is an "orange-out" (I assume because it's the new coach, Lane Kiffin's first game). I will be wearing the below dress to comply with the Orange-Out.

After the game, I hope I will be headed back home and getting some rest. I'm teaching kindergarten Sunday School for the first time solo Sunday morning.


After Sunday School, I'm skipping church (shame!), to head down to the Occoee River to meet some friends from Georgia for a little whitewater rafting.

All my Knoxville friends will be laking it all day (last day of summer- boo!)

I will join because the best view of BOOMSDAY(!) is from the lake.


I love fireworks!

Monday I will be sure to stop by Chick-fil-A for a free chicken sandwich (you have to wear a team logo). Sweet!

Then I think a long bike ride down the Knoxville Greenway on my Townie is in order to burn off the margs, tailgating, and chick-fil-ing. I am going to need another couple days off to recover from my long weekend!
