Bachelor Pad (Post Marriage) Before and After

This is the foyer AFTER (thank goodness).

We painted over the Hubs' horrible DIY dark brown peeling paint job, put in new ceilings, pulled up the nasty nasty nasty carpet (which I thought was brown, but apparently was originally pink in color), and opened up the doorway to the kitchen from 18 inches to three feet.
